The Chicago Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression is driven by members mobilizing their communities for justice. There are dozens of ways to get involved, and everyone’s skills are needed to move forward. Currently, the Alliance is working to build field teams in all 50 wards to fight for an elected Civilian Police Accountability Council. In addition to ongoing neighborhood outreach, CAARPR volunteers organize teach-ins and rallies, provide office support, contribute media and design, and meet with elected officials, among other actions.
